  • We provides the high-purity quartz small diameter tube for preparing vacuum ampule via flame gas fused with 20mm OD, suitable for Vacuum Ampule Sealing Device.

    Our Quartz tubes (made with >99.99% high purity quartz) have excellent thermal shock resistance and are chemically inert to most elements and compounds, including virtually all acids, regardless of concentration, except hydrofluoric (HF) acid. Quartz can withstand high temperatures up to 1700 °C. Quartz tubes are widely used in tube furnace, for materials melting and chemical reactions in both materials science research and industry. 

    Powder processing is recommended for the best calcination and sintering results. We  offer a variety of balling milling equipment and accessories for powder processing.

    Quartz tubes are consumables and not covered by any warranty.

    Application Notes

    To melt the quartz tube, you need Acetylene, oxy-hydrogen gas, or Liquid natural gas with oxygen.
    Burning torches are available from a local hardware store, which is not included.
    Please always consult the safety regulations to choose a flammable gas in your lab.

    Acetylene + Oxygen: ~ 3300℃ Max

    Oxyhydrogen gas: ~ 2800℃ Max.

    Liquid Nature Gas (LNG) + Oxygen:  ~ 1990℃
