Rocking Tube Furnace with Quartz Tube & Vacuum Flange

Rocking furnaces introduce a relatively gentle oscillating motion to heat treatment processes. The inclination of the furnace hearth is mechanically adjusted at regular intervals with varying amplitudes and frequencies–depending on application requirements. Generally speaking, rocking furnaces are electrically heated and feature a cylindrical, or tube, hearth that is rolled back and forth in a mechanical cradle. Users program the oscillation as a figure of cycles per unit of time (Hz). If you need to operate the furnace continuously for long periods, an endless frequency can be specified.

  • This is a compact rocking quartz tube furnace (1~2" optional ), which is designed to stir samples during heating or melting to get a more uniform reaction.  The rocking stage can set rocking frequency and time for automatically running.   It is a useful tool for the preparation of thermoelectric material and growing 2D crystals.

    2" default flange with 1/4'' Barbed fittings, 1/4'' tube feedthrough port (for 1/4" O.D thermocouple insert) and a KF25 vacuum port

    1" flange has no thermocouple insert

    Fitting Ports

    Both flanges will come standard with 3/8" barbed hose fittings

    In order to increase the throughput and achieve a high vacuum, you may replace the standard barbed hose fitting with the KF25 adapter .

    For supplying high-pressure gas, you may replace the standard barbed hose fitting with the 304SS 1/4" Tube Fitting x 1/4" BSPP Male Connector .

    50 m-torr can be achieved by a mechanical pump
